Once she is done, a second snap of her fingers extinguishes the flame. She traces a rectangle on the metal large enough for her companion. Pix snaps her fingers, causing a pinpoint of white flame to appear. What they can't see is any sort of opening. Eventually, the spade uncovers a metal sheet taller than the delvar and wider than Pix's full wingspan. As more and more dirt is knocked to the floor, the companions can see a dull grey metal.
